Projects

2021      Body of Work – Feels Like Home

              Researched, planned and created small scale textile installation mimicking the home                environment. Works explored themes of vulnerability through grief and relationships.

​

2020      Body of Work – Finding the Words 

               Honours research project, installation consisting of thirty poetry textile works, asking                  "How can poetry communicate female experience through textile installation?"

​

2019      Body of Work – She Goes

              Researched, planned and created five mixed media works on canvas, exploring                           the subconscious mind, themes of identity and womanhood.

2019       Body of Work – The Great Divide

               Researched, planned and created a four panel, double-sided room divider                                   exploring themes of gender, body image and identity.

2018       Body of Work – Pareidolia

               Researched, planned and created six mixed media works on A2 paper,                                           surrounding the theme of pareidolia. Arranged the works and hung them using pins.

2018       Body of work – Between the Lines

               Researched, planned and created 22 individual mixed media pieces on plywood                         board. Measured and cut the boards, prepared for hanging. Hung the works ready for                 showing.

2018       Body of work – Wallflower

               Researched, planned and created 6 mixed media pieces on A1 Plywood board.                             Prepared for hanging. Hung the works ready for showing.

2018       Video Project – Synesthesia

               Team leader. Managed a group project of four people including myself. The goal was                 to make a video creatively displaying synesthesia in 7 weeks. I had to make                                   the executive decision to let go two of our teammates who couldn’t deliver. In the end                the project was completed and a great success.

2017     Body Painting

             Last minute project called for volunteers to paint the bodies of two models. Worked in               a team of five people to paint the models from head to toe in just over 2 hours. Models               were painted for a media press release advertising the 2017 Cre8 at the University                       of Canberra, Southbank campus.
